The popular Claims Clinics are back and our first event of 2012 will be held on Wednesday 28 March, leading with the theme:

Claims - At the forefront of our industry?

To the outside observer, price would seem to be pretty much the single thread upon which our industry now stands and falls. Those of us inside the industry know that this is simply not the case. Claims is why people buy policies and is therefore right there on the front line. Does it really get a fair share of the spotlight though? Too often it's only at times of extreme activity and then it is often complaining rather than complimenting good service. So how have we arrived at this juncture and just what can be done to keep claims on track?

Ultimately it is the quality of our claims services upon which we will be judged. The worrying truth though is that with margins cut to the bone by the pricing drivers, too few companies have the real ability to fully invest in a claims infrastructure that meets the perceived expectations of the consumers. So how can this be addressed?
