High net worth insurer Home & Legacy has launched an e-trading platform titled Home & Legacy Online (HALO).

HALO offers quote, compare and buy facilities and the insurer aims to add renewal and mid-term adjustment functions in the coming months.

The platform has replaced the insurers former e-trading offering.

Brokers can also chat with underwriters and claim handlers, search for existing customers and see an overview of policy documents and claims.

The e-trading platform is developed with software provider Acturis.

Home & Legacy managing director Barry O’Neill (pictured) said: “This new digital platform will take us to the forefront of high net worth insurance e-trade.

“Enabling our brokers to experience a quick and easy quote journey, whilst knowing they will receive a quote on at least 96% of risks, is a remarkable achievement.”

Acturis co-chief executive David McDonald said: “The site includes an optimised question set and delivers a full panel of quotes from multiple insurers in under two seconds using Acturis Connect.”

HALO is available to all brokers via Home & Legacy’s website.
