These areas are open to all users and provide:

- Breaking news over the last 30 days from Insurance Times' sister sites Global Reinsurance and Strategic Risk: The three sites share a common database allowing easy access to the complementary information they hold
- Customised email newsletters: Covering all the key specialist content areas as well as breaking news and "the week's news" options. Plus chose where, how (incl. Blackberry delivery) and when these alerts are delivered.
- User feedback: Interact directly with journalists on the stories that matter; add comments to articles and take part in and review online debates, polls and surveys
- Careers area: Search and apply for jobs and get invaluable careers advice. Look up information from key recruiters and register your job interests.

Subscribers to Insurance Times magazine or its online service will receive:

If you're an existing subscriber, and still using the same username and password you used to access the old Insurance Times online, you will no longer be able to access the subscriber areas of the site
You need to change your password to continue using Insurance Times online
- You need your unique reader code, that you can find on the letter or email correspondence you have been sent. Your unique reader code should be 7 characters long (eg. abcdefg).
If you do not know your unique reader number please call our customer service team on 020 7618 3490. - When you have your unique reader code please click here to go to www.insurancetimes.co.uk/signup
- Enter in your unique reader code and click “continue”.
- You will be taken to your account details, and your password will be displayed in asterisks.
- Delete this existing password, and replace with a new password of your choice.
- After you have changed your password, click “confirm” and you will continue to have full access to Insurance Times online.

This section provides a range of data and research offerings that include exclusive surveys and third-party sourced information. Each of these is individually priced with discounts for subscribers to Insurance Times.
