CNA Insurance is to launch a directors' & officers' (D&O) quote engine.
A CNA spokesman said: "The new system will enable brokers to obtain a D&O quote in seven easy steps."
Brokers enter details of the risk into the engine and are given a quote.
CNA has launched the engine to help struggling D&O brokers who are finding it difficult to find affordable cover for their clients, particularly those in the financial and pharmaceuticals sector.
Marsh UK recently announced that the cost of D&O cover had risen by up to 1,000% in some instances, though increases of around 300% are more common.
