Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) will be upping its security package portfolio in the UK this year.

CSC marketing director Tony Barker said it would be bringing elements of its PATRIOT Protector solution, currently available in the US, to the UK.

He said: "We have seen a rising demand for security in services in the UK. Some of the software and services are already available in the country, but we will be importing the insurer fraud element."

Barker said this included the At First element that screened claims in a system and was applied at the first point of input-ting the claim and a fraud data mining programme, which identified patterns of strange activity.

"We will be tailoring these to the UK market," Barker said.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
