London law firm Lawrence Graham has said international shipping clients should welcome the UK government's proposals for modernising the civil court system.
The firm said the proposals would introduce a new way of managing the civil justice system, with new ways of serving customers, handling cases and improving support for judges and staff.
Lawrence Graham shipping partner Imogen Rumbold said: "Shipping clients around the world who look to the UK for dispute resolution should take heart that the government is aware how important the workings of its civil courts are, and is aware that much can be done to make them run more smoothly."
