Royal & SunAlliance's executive development programme (EDP) has been recognised in the national training awards.
R&SA has won a Greater London Training Award for its EDP, which it developed in conjunction with Berkshire Consultancy.
Twenty-six of the insurer's senior managers have undertaken the EDP to develop their leadership skills.
Karen Hobbs, R&SA's UK executive development manager, said: "The programme is an example of effective learning and is in line with our business objectives. It's clear that the programme has had immediate and noticeable benefits for the wider organisation. By taking participants out of their traditional roles and enabling them to develop and implement their strategic and leadership skills we are able to truly maximise their potential in actual business projects."
