XL Europe's professional lines operation XL Insurance Professional is to offer $25m (£13.6m) European primary directors' and officers' (D&O) liability capacity.
XL Insurance Operations chief executive Clive Tobin said: "We are positioning ourselves to be a one-source provider of coverage relevant to our risk management clients and D&O is an increasingly important focus for operations."
Tobin said he wouldshow that XL's insurance segment companies were leaders in global risk management by bringing meaningful capacity to bear on D&O programmes.
