Creditors of Lloyd's insurance broker Manning Williams have endorsed the appointment of Christopher Morris and Nick Hood of insolvency specialists Begbies Traynor as joint liquidators.
The decision was agreed by more than 100 Manning Williams' creditors.
Begbies Traynor director Neil Mather has begun investigating the financial position of Manning Williams.
The first step will be to reconcile the firm's IBA accounts and try to make a dividend payment to creditors as quickly as possible.
