Domestic & General Group said it expects profit before goodwill for the full year to be ahead of market forecasts.

In a pre-close trading update, the group said the business has traded well in the second half to March 2005, with satisfactory claims ratios, but a small reduction in the underlying rate of turnover growth.

The group will release its full year results on 31 May.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
