Norwich Union's (NU) new insurance package for surgeries and offices includes cover for legal expenses, and the option to include business travel cover.
NU believes that the `Office & Surgery' package will benefit a wide range of professions.
Benefits for customers include asset protection cover, flexible revenue protection cover, legal expenses cover as standard, clear policy wordings and 24-hour claims, legal, tax and risk management helplines.
Benefits for brokers include the capability to receive quotations over the phone, no more proposal forms to fill in as all details are taken on the phone, and a range of core and optional covers all in one product.
The director of commercial products at Norwich Union, Jim Noakes, said "Brokers and their clients want a faster, simpler service from insurers. We have taken a fresh look at the needs of this sector and have provided an innovative core cover combined with a wide range of cover extensions.
"A key concern has been to make the cover easy to understand and the documentation efficient to handle," he added.
