Online insurance portal venture teams up with second technology provider.

Quotes2Me, an online insurance portal for consumers and SMEs, has partnered with a second broker technology provider in order to make its platform more widely available to brokers in the personal lines market via the CDL aggregator hub.

Quotes2Me's service, which is available to all intermediaries, gives brokers a more affordable alternative to having their own internet presence. The site allows brokers to provide online quotes to customers.

Manjit Rana, chief executive officer of Quotes2Me, said: “This has been an exciting month for us. Two of the leading broker technology providers are now working with Quotes2Me to help their brokers compete more effectively for the 15 million plus consumers and SMEs sourcing insurance online. The partnership with CDL now gives us access to the high volume quote provider market as well as the 5,000-strong local and regional broker markets that we can already address.

"We are truly helping to connect the offline and online markets together to provide the consumer with a comprehensive one-stop service for sourcing and managing their whole portfolio of insurance policies.”

Nigel Phillips, business strategist for CDL, added: "We are pleased to be on board with Quotes2Me who have developed a unique offering in the aggregator market. Clearly brokers with a wide ranging panel will benefit from the traffic sourced through this channel, and equipped with an array of pricing tools, their broking skills will undoubtedly be well placed to grow their revenues."

Quotes2Me also signed an agreement last month to make its platform available to the whole Open GI user-base.

Due to launch in the next few weeks, Quotes2Me provides a white label service to mainstream consumer brands and affinity groups that receive a revenue share in return for offering a free insurance concierge service to their clients or members.

“We are already in deep conversations with a number of organisations including a major motor dealership group, a couple of charities as well as a major consumer facing brand,” Rana said.
