Willis Re has named Paddy Jago chief executive officer of Willis Re in the US. Jago, previously president of the unit, succeeds Peter Hearn, who was promoted to CEO of Willis Re globally in June.

John Ehinger will assume the role of president for Willis Re in the US in addition to his current responsibilities as chief operating officer.

“Paddy has the skills, expertise, and leadership qualities to continue the success and growth of our US operations. He will have an excellent partner in John Ehinger, who has driven improvements in our core operations, and I expect this partnership will contribute significantly to our ongoing progress,” said Grahame Millwater, chairman of Willis Re.

“During his tenure with Willis Re, Paddy has been instrumental in revitalising our production efforts and has consistently demonstrated his staunch commitment to our team-oriented culture, said Hearn. “As a team, Paddy and John are committed to maintaining our positive momentum and providing the leadership necessary for continued success in a changing marketplace.”
