At the official opening of DAS's swanky new Dublin offices, Irish broker account executive Brendan Little and UK sales and marketing manager Ray Kneeshaw were overheard heatedly discussing football.

Kneeshaw, spurred on by the inclusion of West Ham's darling Joe Cole in the team, bet £20 on England progressing further than the Ireland team in the World Cup.

He insisted he wanted the bet in writing - well, he is not going to be allowed to forget about it now.
