InsurE-com said it enjoyed positive feedback after issuing a questionnaire to intermediaries using its free back-office system insur-E.office.

The questionnaire, sent to every insur-E.office user, asked for feedback on issues such as software installation, data transfer, system functionality, training, customer services, insurer panel and marketing.

InsurE-com marketing director Paul Scanlon said the company wanted to find out why intermediaries had initially chosen insur-E.office.

Scanlon said: "More than 85% rated cost as one of their top three reasons for choosing insur-E.office, as the core back office solution is supplied completely free to intermediaries."

The survey also revealed that 70% of the intermediaries consulted said insur-E.office's modern technology base was one of their top reasons for choosing the system.

Scanlon said: "Quote functionality and administration of the system came out as the third and fourth most important factors cited by respondents."

Insur-E.office also received positive feedback in terms of customer service, software installation, data transfer, its motor insurer panel and its EDI functionality.

"We are delighted with the feedback we have received and will continue to evaluate and address all issues as and when they arise. Our business model dictates that we offer the highest level of customer service and overall, we are pleased with the results we have received, concluded Scanlon."
