The Insurance Times MGA Report 2021/22 is the first at a glance guide to trading, created for brokers by brokers.

The ratings distil the key findings of the MGA survey into an indispensable advice tool to help brokers select the right MGA to partner with. MGA experience is classified using an easy to understand Five Star System, with five stars representing the best performing MGA, and one star being the worst.

Some brokers experienced significant restriction in appetite and loss of autonomy / authority in certain sectors. Brokers provided feedback on products ranging from commercial combined, property owners, D&O, home, liability, cyber and more. Generally, Pen provided a wide variety of products in many niche areas that others don’t provide. However, comments were made on improvements being needed in underwriting appetite, renewal price increases and pre priced forms.
