I write with reference to my article on rehabilitation entitled "Taking the lead in rehab" (Times Two Health, 12 May).
The article implies that the government is already committed to the establishment of a rehabilitation institute.
It should be made clear, however, that the Department for Work and Pensions has confirmed it is keen to take the issue forward, but not yet made any firm commitments in terms of setting up a specific rehabilitation institute.
