Milton Keynes based DPR Commercial Insurance Brokers has acquired Bishopscourt General Insurance Service as well as the general insurance division of Fisher Financial.
The two new acquisitions, which will be assimilated into DPR's offices by the end of February, is claimed to bring the company's annual premium turnover to £15m.
DPR Chairman Budge Rogers said, "While the businesses of both Bishopscourt and Fisher are highly compatible with ours they bring additional niche market expertise that, coupled with the experience and service culture of their staff, will add significantly to our operation."
The Bank of Scotland provided the funding of the purchases.
