Event insurance specialist Worldwide Special Risks has launched a fireworks insurance policy with a very British twist: it covers adverse weather ruining your 5 November display.

“This additional protection allows peace of mind should the weather or other unforeseen factors force the cancellation, abandonment or postponement of the event,” says the company.

Clearly very useful in Britain when it seems to rain all year round except for two days in June (weekdays, of course) when the temperature reaches 38ºC.
