Ex-Patient Choice man joins health speicialist

The Private Health Partnership (PHP) has appointed Stuart Scullion as sales and marketing director.

Scullion takes up his new role on 1 August where he will be responsible for PHP’s sales and marketing strategy, and all activities leading up to new sales.

He joins PHP from Patient Choice where he was head of sales and marketing.

He has been involved within the medical insurance industry since 1995 and has also held several senior management positions at Clinicare prior to its acquisition by Groupama Insurances UK in 2005.

Jan Lawson, managing director of PHP, said: “Stuart is a well known figure in our industry who brings tremendous experience to the table.

"I am extremely confident he will help take PHP’s sales and marketing activities to a further new level as we continue to develop the business, both through organic growth and acquisition.”

PHP recently moved into new headquarters in Baildon, West Yorkshire. It currently services over 8,300 corporate and company clients, trade associations and individuals with an annual premium income over £33m.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
