Harry McNeil
Harry is a senior reporter at Insurance Times. He’s not afraid of facing difficult topics headfirst, having recently reported on the defence industry. With a knowledge of geopolitical happenings, Harry has experience covering military, international politics, and law. He has covered complicated topics on the Ukraine war and the modernisation of militaries worldwide, which has led him to reporting from national and international conferences.
Graduating with a degree in Media, Journalism, & Publishing from Oxford Brookes University, he started a student-run publication and gained experience in independent business reporting and foreign correspondence. He entered the world of business reporting in 2023, reporting for various data-driven military and defence B2B online titles and separate magazines, where his content views reached over 1.6 million viewers over the course of just short of two years and has recently had a byline in a mining magazine.
Outside of the office, Harry has a growing interest in investing, having created his own personal guide to private investing following years of research. Beyond research and writing, Harry loves to stay active, and he has recently picked up boxing to complement his running and football (Liverpool fan).
