Caroline Ramsay is promoted to head UK finance

RSA has appointed Caroline Ramsay as its new UK finance director.

Ramsay is currently RSA’s group financial planning and analysis director.

Prior to joining RSA in April 2007, she spent 12 years with KPMG in audit and general practice, and a further 12 years with Aviva, working in a range of senior finance roles.

Ramsay will begin the handover process on 14 April and will be reporting directly to UK chief executive, Bridget McIntyre.

McIntyre said: “Caroline brings with her a wealth of experience and I am delighted that she’s joining the team. I have no doubt that her strong financial skills and enthusiastic mindset will help support our customer strategy and the role that finance will play in this.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
