Former Marsh private client head to take helm
Allianz has appointed former Marsh private clients boss Barry O'Neill as managing director of Home & Legacy.
With extensive experience in the High Net Worth sector, O'Neill will be responsible for taking Home & Legacy through to the next stage of development and growth, said Allianz.
Previously the UK general manager of Marsh private clients, O'Neill was responsible for all aspects of the UK private client business and re-engineered the business to become a HNW client speciality practice.
Prior to his position at Marsh, he held a variety of managerial roles and brings with him extensive experience spanning a wide range of skill sets, including underwriting, business development and claims and credit control.
O'Neill said: "I am keen to continue the development of a growing and increasingly profitable High Net Worth business that is fully aligned with the Home & Legacy strategy, building upon the excellent work that has already been done."
