Scheme offer cover through intermediaries for let properties
Home and Legacy has launched a new product, Home and Legacy Let, to provide cover through intermediaries for let properties.
The new policy is a residential insurance product for individuals who are letting their main or second home as well as for individuals or businesses that own and let one or more investment properties.
The policy offers landlord-specific Legal Expenses cover as standard, and extensions for rental ‘Cash-flow’ Protection. Additional cover for malicious damage by tenants can be also be included.
Policies can be set up on a stand-alone basis as there is no requirement to be an existing policyholder with Home and Legacy.
Home and Legacy managing director, Barry O’Neill, said: “We are very excited about the launch of this new Let product. We have a very strong team of individuals who each have extensive experience in the development of niche products such as Home and Legacy Let.
"We will now continue to look to the future and the development team will be researching other niche areas that reflect the Home and Legacy brand and develop products accordingly."
