Teceris liability adjusting field force and Birmingham claims team sold by Capita
Loss adjuster Questgates has acquired the liability division of Teceris Corporate and Complex Adjusting (part of Capita Group) comprising the external liability adjusting field force and the Birmingham based claims handling unit.
Around 20 staff will TUPE transfer to QuestGates, including management, technical and support professionals with the services being merged into QuestGates’s existing Liability division.
As part of the arrangement QuestGates will also work closely with Capita in the future providing field investigations for their ongoing claims handling operations.
Chris Hall, managing director of QuestGates, said: “The addition to the team is an exciting step for the business and is entirely consistent with our long term aims.
“I look forward to welcoming our new clients and staff on board. Many of our senior managers have worked with members of the Teceris team in the past so we know their expertise will complement our range of services whilst adding additional capacity. The clients that come across from Teceris will also now benefit from access to our broad range of loss adjusting services from property and environmental to motor and complex and major loss.”
