Managing general agency Imperium Insurance Management has hired loss adjuster Davies to handle its property and liability claims.

Davies will also provide the MGA with integrated loss adjusting and supply chain services.

Imperium was launched by Lloyd’s broker Direct Insurance Group in 2014. The MGA has two trading brands: online SME-focused isure underwriting and real-estate focused Lincoln Underwriting.

Davies chief executive Dan Saulter said: “This is another example of how we are delivering on our strategy by investing heavily in bespoke partnerships, innovation and our specialist services.

“Imperium is a high quality business whose brokers demand a consistent and high quality claims capability, which Davies is able to offer.”

Imperium managing director Tony Lawrence added: “We recognise that claims handling is the ultimate test of a policy and why clients choose to stay with you.

“That’s why we have partnered with Davies. They have an exceptional team of people, award-winning leadership, and have earned a reputation for excellence in their field. Crucially they embrace change by pushing the boundaries and that will help us serve our brokers clients better.”
