RSA is creating 200 new jobs in its Peterborough contact centre, in part to handle its new partnership with building society Nationwide.

The jobs will be a mixture of part- and full-time, across sales, service and claims, and will include some leadership positions.

The Nationwide home insurance deal, which RSA won from rival Direct Line Group, will come online for RSA in 2017.

The new Peterborough roles will be created over the next 12 months at RSA’s Lynchwood House site in Lynchwood Business Park.

RSA currently employs 600 people at the Lynchwood House office.

RSA customer director Kirk Bradley said: “Our team is integral in delivering the quality of service our partners expect – many of whom are household leading brands including our own More Than brand.

“We are delighted to be able to announce that we are expanding our team as a result of existing growth along with a new partnership launching next year and our recruitment adverts will feature prominently in and around Peterborough from now until early into 2017.”
