London market stalwart David Pye becomes non-exec director at Lloyd's insurer
Lloyd's insurer Novae has appointed David Pye as an independent non-executive director.
In addition, Pye will serve as a member of the group's audit committee.
Pye has 40 years experience as both an underwriter and a director in the London and Lloyd's markets.
He is a non-executive director of Independent Services Group and chairman of Independent London Market Services.
He is also chairman of Equity Syndicate Management, the managing agency of Equity Red Star Syndicate 218, the largest Lloyd's motor syndicate.
He was previously chief executive of Creechurch Underwriting, now part of Canopius.
In an announcement to the London Stock Exchange Novae said Pye owns 322 ordinary shares of £1 each the company.
