New chief executive Simon Ball in exclusive interview
The new chief executive of PowerPlace, Simon Ball, says that working with chairman Peter Cullum was a key factor attracting him to the job.
Speaking to insurancetimes.co.uk, Ball said that Cullum, founder and deputy chairman of PowerPlace’s parent company Towergate, and chairman of the e-trading company itself, was an inspiration.
He said: “Peter Cullum is one of the standout characters in this industry and someone who I admire immensely – even more so now I have met him! Layer on that a passionate belief in the value that this business brings to the marketplace, and it’s an irresistible combination.”
