What is LAYAR?

LAYAR is an Application and allows users to view Augmented Reality objects within the LAYAR browser. Collections of these objects are known as Layers. The Insurance Times Layers are not Apps in there own right but one on many Layers within the LAYAR platform.

How does LAYAR work with Insurance Times Layers?

Our Layers are designed to give our Print Copy reader a better expeierence, bringing the magazine to life. By launching the App in your Tablet or Mobile device, users are able to view additional ‘hidden’ content that is not available without using the LAYAR App.

To use, simply start the LAYAR App, hover over an Insurance Times page and ‘Tap to View’.

A cellular or WiFi connection is required.

LAYAR is only available for iOS and Android devices presently. Users that have a compatable device should either scan the respective QR code below, that will take you directly to the respective Applications page, or search Apple’s App Store or Google Play for “LAYAR”.
