Stuart Whalley promoted into the newly created position

Fresh Insurance Services has promoted Stuart Whalley to operations director to lead the group in its “ambitious” growth plans.

In the newly created position, Whalley will be responsible for driving internal efficiencies and building foundations for the group to achieve its goal of more than £40m gross written premium (GWP) by the end of 2015.

A spokeswoman for the group said Fresh would write circa £35m GWP this year and is looking to grow organically by focusing on motor, telematics and home insurance.

Whalley has been with the broker since it launched 11 years ago and was most recently its business development director.

Fresh Insurance Services chief executive Lisa Powis said: “This is a well deserved promotion and I am confident that Stuart will help achieve our ambitious goals.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
