The London insurance market along with millions of Kylie Minogue fans are suffering a nervous few weeks following the announcement that the Australian pop queen has breast cancer.

The singer announced she would have to cancel up to 20 shows in Australia as she undergoes immediate treatment for her condition.

Insurance Times has learned that the tour event cancellation cover is placed in the London market. Claims for the cancellation of the tour dates could top £1m.

But sources in the UK said the dates could be rearranged depending on the outcome of her treatment. "It is a massive production. These shows involve hundreds of production and performance staff.

"Whether it is possible to reschedule we will see. But we can confirm the tour has not been definitely cancelled yet."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
