History: Provident Financial acquired Halifax Insurance in 1978. In 1994, the company's name was changed to

Provident insurance. Provident is a private motor insurance underwriter that specialises in women drivers, older vehicles

and non-comprehensive risks.

Biography: Collier was appointed MD of Provident Insurance in 2001. He joined in 1995, becoming operations

manager in 1999.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
