Company history:
Established in 1921, SAI became the leading motor insurer in Italy after the Second World War. The company has four main operating units - insurance solutions, primary insurance cover, life and financial services and insurance systems. These units operate autonomously but are assisted by seven functional units of staff responsible for co-ordinating the management activities and supplying the central support services.
The insurer has one of the most qualified sales networks in Italy with 935 agencies distributed throughout the country. These act as the main link between the company and the market. SAI has control of numerous companies each with its own specific operating sector.
