Income protection insurer Permanent has added the option of guaranteed rates to its Income Protector product.
The move will enhance the certainty of returns for customers who previously would have settled for reviewable rates, which can fluctuate after five years.
Permanent has also extended the services offered by its plug-in quotation system for brokers and IFAs.
The internet-linked system can now quote for income protection and critical illness insurance in addition to life assurance.
