The AA and FT.com have joined forces to provide an online search service for household and car insurance.
The AA Rapid Quote function provides instant quotes from a variety of UK insurers and offers an online purchase discount of 5%.
Users can connect to the function via the Compare & Buy section of the FT.com/yourmoney website.
AA managing director Andrew Briscoe commented: "We already handle 45% of our quotes online, and this is becoming an increasingly important place to buy cover. We are delighted to join forces with such a hugely influential website as FT.com."
