Premium finance provider Aascent has opened an office in Belfast to target the Northern Ireland market.
The new office will be led by Philip Dalgity, previously with Colliers Cre NI in Belfast.
Aascent managing director Kevin O'Flanagan said the office would provide brokers in the region with local access to a competitive range of commercial premium finance options, and he hoped to capture 30% of the market.
”While premium finance has been available in Northern Ireland it has never received the local attention that Aascent intends to bring to the region," he said.
The office is Aascent's fifth in the UK, along with offices in Birmingham, Reading, Taunton and London.
