Abbey Legal Protection has launched a new facility called PLUS that gives cover for loss assessors and specialist consultants.

The cover is arranged on a whole broker account basis and rated on the material damage and business interruption premiums.

PLUS covers the costs of a loss assessors 's professional fees and gives access to forensic scientists, specialist solicitors, chartered surveyors and accountants and business continuity specialists.

The Balcombe Group, the Harris Claims Group and Thompson & Bryan will provide the loss assessors.

PLUS includes a 24-hour helpline and branding options to brokers can tailor the product to provide clients with a bespoke scheme.
