The ABI has appointed Joanne Hindle, corporate services director at Unum Provident, as chair of its Life and Health Regulation working group.
Hindle will be responsible for promoting a regulatory framework for health insurance products that meets with industry approval.
She said: "I am delighted to take on the position of chair at a time with the ABI's working group will have an increasingly important role in shaping regulation which will soon start to impact significantly upon the life and health insurers industry."
