Accenture has announced enhancements to its web-based Claim Components software.
The company says the updated software is suitable for deployment in worldwide insurance markets as it can now support multiple languages and currencies.
Accenture says another new benefit is the ability to take a tailored approach to the management of individual claims. It states that this will ensure claims are handled as efficiently as possible.
The software can also enable insurers to integrate their claims processes and systems with those of the wide range of vendors involved in settling claims.
Accenture partner Stephen Lathrope said: "The first release of Claim Components has been a huge success with our North American clients. The solution is in production with five major insurers today, supporting 7,000 claims users.
"Insurers here in Europe know that there is significant potential for improvement in claims performance, but have struggled to implement the technology support required to deliver and sustain that improvement. Claim Components offers insurers a uniquely powerful and low-risk claims solution," he added.
