Allianz Cornhill Legal Protection (ACLP) has won the tender to provide family legal protection for Cox Insurance Brokers, starting with its Northern Ireland branches, JMW, in September.
The scheme covers personal injury, clinical negligence, property disputes, property damage, employment and consumer contract with a limit of indemnity of £50,000, ACLP said.
As part of the deal policyholders will be given access to a solicitor via Allianz Cornhill's Lawphone facility and can call for “first aid” legal advice on any personal matter, it concluded.
