The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and the Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development (Acord) have released Acord Form 28, Evidence of Commercial Property Insurance.
Acord said it was a new standard form, developed in conjunction with MBA, which met the specific requirements of the commercial mortgage and the insurance industries.
The new form includes some references to terrorism insurance, business interruption insurance and mold coverage, said Acord.
It said it expected Acord Form 28 to have "immediate and widespread" use throughout the US insurance and mortgage industries.
