Falkirk-based broker Crosbie & Jack has acquired Aberdeen broker Ferguson Law in a move which it says is “pivotal” to its growth plans.
This acquisition consolidates Crosbie & Jack's commitment to Aberdeen and the North East and increases its premium sales turnover to around £22m, said the company.
It said all staff would be retained.
Crosbie & Jack managing director, Gordon Crosbie, commented: “We share Ferguson Law's business values and see this development as pivotal to our growth plans”.
The majority of Crosbie & Jack's business is commercial insurance with particular knowledge in fleet management and the building sector, while Ferguson Law brings proficiency in the oil and gas sector as well as construction.
