Software supplier ROOM Underwriting Systems is to open a new office after a number of important business successes such as Brockbank and ACE Global Markets.
The office, based in Eastcheap, will house maintenance and support services, training, business analysis and sales and marketing divisions.
Managing director John Doran, said: "As the only insurance software supplier to have all their staff based in the City, we are in an unique position to offer our clients that bit extra when needed.
"For example, our close proximity to most client offices means that our support staff are able to visit client offices whenever necessary and vice versa."
ROOM also unveiled the latest update of its leading underwriting management system Subscribe 2000 last week.
The firm claims that the new release, version 1.6. 1 represents a substantial advance in functionality and performance, incorporating a new Atlas 2000 aggregation and mapping module.
ROOM development manager John Fletcher, said: "The additional functions available in this new release reflect our commitment to responding to client and market feedback and requirements."
