Prudential chief financial officer Penny James will also join the motor insurer’s audit committee
Admiral has appointed Penny James as an independent non-executive director and she will also join the motor insurer’s audit committee.
James, currently director of group finance at Prudential, was previously chief finance officer (CFO) for Omega Insurance and at Zurich Financial Services as UK general insurance CFO.
Admiral group chairman Alastair Lyons said: “I am delighted to have someone of Penny’s technical capability and broad experience joining the board, thereby ensuring continuity ahead of future retirements of directors at the end of their nine year term.”
