Admiral has been included in the FTSE 250 index following the quarterly review of the UK index, it was announced today.
Admiral was ranked the 189th largest FTSE company, according to the FTSE ground rule, which gave a 40% weighting to the company's total market capitalisation of £289.4m, based on its free float of 37.4%.
The index change will be implemented on 20 December.
