Aegis energy Syndicate 1225 is to expand its underwriting capabilities to £165m in 2005 after acquiring a specialist team from Ace Global Markets.
The syndicate has appointed Nick Rnjak as lead underwriter. Chris Allison and Andrew Tokley have also been appointed to the syndicate.
Engineer Ian Silcock joins the syndicate from Factory Mutual. The syndicate said Silcock would contribute to its risk management team.
