Commercial property insurer Affiliated FM is targeting brokers in Scotland and the north of England from a new office in Manchester.
Affiliated FM director Jeff Fields said this office was the start of an expansion plan across Europe over the next six months.
The insurer will be promoting the new office at the Biba conference.
Fields said: "Our products and services are clearly proving popular with both our broker partners and clients. We have demonstrated there is a clear alternative to some of the traditional markets."
