Asian insurer will not bid to takeover Prudential's Far East operations
AIA, the subject of a failed £22.5billion bid from UK insurer Prudential earlier this year, was believed to be looking to turn the tables with an approach that could spark a break-up of the UK insurer.
However, AIA boss Mark Tucker, previously the Pru’s chief executive, told The Express it is focused on organic growth and had "closed the chapter" relating to a possible deal with Prudential.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
