AIG Europe (UK) has announced it is restructuring its branch operations - introducing a regional structure.
This will consist of four regional offices in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Croydon.
It says the existing branches and new regional offices will focus on business development and will be supported by local underwriting teams.
The senior vice president of Corporate Risks, Tom Doherty, commented on the move: "We know from research that brokers value our underwriting skills but can find us hard to access and navigate. We aim to change that.
"These changes are all about improving our sale focus - building more effective relationships with brokers and providing fast, responsive access to our technical skills and wide range of products."
He added that no office closures or staff cuts will result from the new structure.
